Workflow: Regional Offices

In the Regional Offices, there are differences in workflow between the Officers in the Region and the Regional Heads. The leave application workflows for each are indicated below.

For Officers in the Region

  1. An Officer in a Region applies and submits a leave application through the Jupiter Platform.

    • The leave status is updated to Sent to Head for Approval
  2. The leave application is forwarded to the Regional Head.

    • The Regional Head reviews the application and either approves or rejects.
    • If the leave application is approved, the officer is notified of the approval.
    • The system updates the status of the leave application to Leave APPROVED

For Heads in the Region

  1. A Regional Head submits a leave application through the Jupiter Platform.

    • The status of the application is changed to Sent to Director for Approval
  2. The leave application is forwarded to the Director in Charge of Regional Operations.

    • The Director reviews the application and can either approve or reject the application.
    • If approved, the workflow continues to the next stage.
    • The status of the application is changed to Sent to Director-General for Approval
  3. Once the Director approves the leave, the application is forwarded to the Director-General.

    • The Director-General reviews the application and approves or rejects.
    • If the leave application is approved the Regional Head is notified of the approval.
    • The system updates the status of the leave application to Leave APPROVED
